For the Garnish:
- 15 g sea salt flakes
- 15 g smoked paprika
- 4 lime wedges
Ingredients:
- 45 ml fresh watermelon juice
- 45 ml tequila
- 30 ml lime juice
- 30 ml pure maple syrup (preferably golden)
- 15 ml smooth orange juice
- 1 pinch chili powder
- 1 watermelon wedge
Method
- To make the watermelon juice, scoop the watermelon flesh into your blender and blitz until smooth.
- Prepare your margarita glass: On a small, rimmed plate, mix the salt and paprika together. Run a wedge of lime around the top of each glass, then dip the top into the salt blend.
- Add ice cubes to your glass and set it aside.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the watermelon juice, tequila, lime juice, maple syrup, and orange juice.
- Secure the lid to the shaker and shake for 30 seconds.
Strain the liquid into your prepared glass, add a lime wedge, and sprinkle with a pinch of chili powder.
