White Maple Sangria

 

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) chilled white wine
  • Ice
  • 1 litre chilled sparkling water or soda water
  • 120 ml pure maple syrup (preferably amber)
  • 120 ml fruit-flavoured liqueur (e.g., peach)
  • 240 ml peach juice
  • 300 g fresh berries
  • 1 large peach, sliced into wedges
  • 1 large lime, sliced into wedges

Method

  1. Place the fruit in the bottom of a large pitcher.
  2. Add wine, maple syrup, liqueur, and juice; stir gently until combined. Top with sparkling water and ice.
  3. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours (if chilling before, add ice just before serving).
