Christmas Walk of Light

If there’s an event where inspiration can be felt, it’s the Walk Of Light, an event dedicated to memorable lighting experiences that can move people. 

The event celebrates a journey through light installations in breathtaking locations. 

The Walk Of Light aims to encourage the community and visitors to venture out and seek inspiration, hope and dreams. 

As the sun goes down each night, mesmerising installations of light will shine bright while creating an unexplainable atmosphere.  

Step into a world of enchantment this Christmas! Join us for the Glen Innes Christmas Walk of Light trail and let the magic of Christmas illuminate your heart. Wander through a whimsical wonderland of thousands of twinkling lights. Let’s celebrate the spirit of Christmas together!

MARGARITA & TACO FESTIVAL 

Good Vibes are coming to the Glen Innes Railway Station this Summer 

Saturday 25th November, 2023 from 4 pm 

 – FREE Entry 

At the Margarita & Taco Festival, you will find an array of unique market stalls, a variety of incredible Mexican inspired foods and beverages, music, art an immersive neon light trail as well as activities for the whole family.  

Join us as we create an unforgettable experience at the Glen Innes Railway Station.

Christmas in the Highlands  

1st December, 2023 

A magic evening where a section of the street, in front of the historic Town Hall, is closed to make way for a myriad of stallholders, artisans and producers ready to fill your stockings with wonderful and unique holiday gifts. 

There will be entertainment, food and the official ‘Turning On The Christmas Lights’. The Town Hall will also hold a special Red Cross event and competition for the best decorative tree with entries from local schools, businesses and groups around the Glen Innes Severn LGA.
